As we have all noted, Senators Lieberman and Collins have proposed a revised version of their cybersecurity legislation.  They’ve touted it as a compromise bill that moves closer to the middle and addresses industry concerns.  If this Myth v Fact Sheet about the Revised Cybersecurity Act of 2012 currently making the rounds is any indication, it doesn’t appear they’ve made many converts.  Assuming all 51 Democrats and the 2 Independents vote for the bill, they need to pick up 7 Republicans.  So far they have one (Senator Collins, obviously) and they need six more. Time will tell.
